The European Commission Directorate-General of Home Affairs has opened up several calls in its ‘Prevention of Fight Against Crime' programme, also called ISEC. One of them focuses on preventing radicalization and recruitment leading to terrorism. This Call calls also actions aimed at supporting the role of victims of terrorism in the fight against terrorism and violence promoting groups. Identified priorities for the call are exchange, cooperation, research and the development of positive counter narratives to prevent radicalization and to support the role of victims.
The total amount for co-financing of grants under this call is €5.500.000, but may be increased or decreased depending on the adoption of the submitted modification of the ISEC Annual WorkProgramme 2012. The deadline for submitting a proposal is set for 2 August 2012.
